I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where I earned a B.B.A in Business Analytics & Information Systems and complemented it with a minor in Computer Science. I am an employee with Kru-Marc Inc where I work extensively with Power BI to develop and support applications for Field Users.
Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my expertise in data wrangling, data mining, data analysis, and data visualizations. I thrive in translating complex datasets into meaningful insights and actionable strategies. First, scraped data from PGATour.com using the website’s GraphQL API and python libraries such as pandas. The data contains various stats for golfer’s from 2007-2022. Exported the data as a CSV file.
Conducted Exploratory Data Analysis such as calculating summary statistics, visualizing distributions and relationships, detecting outliers, and checking for missing data. Additionally, performed correlation analysis to assess the relationships between different variables. This helps to better understand the data set as a whole.
Lastly, utilized Excel to package the data for Tableau. Created an interactive Tableau Dashboard to display useful information on PGA Tour Player Statistics.

I successfully designed and implemented a data integration solution using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to streamline data processing and analysis. The primary objective was to populate custom Azure SQL Database tables with data from multiple views, ensuring efficient data organization and retrieval. To achieve this, I created a robust data pipeline in ADF that extracted data from the views and loaded it into the corresponding Azure SQL Database tables. This pipeline automated the data transfer process, eliminating manual intervention and ensuring data consistency.
Additionally, I leveraged ADF to develop a second pipeline, this time to handle JSON data stored in an Azure storage account and ingest it into Azure Cosmos DB containers. This allowed for seamless data synchronization and ensured that the data stored in Cosmos DB was up-to-date and aligned with the source data.
To enable data-driven insights and visualizations, I utilized Power BI. By connecting the data sources from Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB to Power BI, I created an interactive dashboard with insightful visuals.
Ultimately, this project exemplified my expertise in designing end-to-end data solutions, from data extraction to visualization, contributing to enhanced data-driven decision-making within an organization.
Data Mining Course Project
Utilized RStudio to build and test various machine learning models on a Kaggle dataset containing data on employee turnover.
- Collected data from kaggle: 9,000+ employees, 10 features
- Conducted EDA within RStudio
- Trained various models (Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradiant Boost, Adaboost, Radial SVM, Polynomial SVM, Logistic Regression, Neural Network)
- Based on performance metrics (validation AUC, accuracy, precision, and recall), chose a Random forest model with 86.4% accuracy.

Collaborated with a sponsor to find ways to sell/monetize transactional data for FavTrip (gas-station/convenience store chain).
Met weekly to consider monetization techniques, utilized RStudio to clean/package the data, utilized Tableau to create an Interactive Dashboard of visuals. Some tasks we completed include:
- Cleaned FavTrip’s transactional data for analysis
- Packaged data for potential buyers
- Created R-scripts (e.g. basket analysis) to aid in internal operations
- Created an interactive Tableau dashboard to leverage data for selling ad space on gas pumps
